Joanne Masters - Chief Economist for Ernst & Young’s Oceania region

Joanne has been an active part of the economic debate in Australia for the last 15 years.  Before this she was a Senior Economist in the Australian Economics Research team at ANZ and spent over a decade at Macquarie Bank.

With a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Economics, and as a leading female in economics, Jo works to champion women’s equality in the workforce and be a driving voice for better gender outcomes. She sits on the Advisory Board for the Finance Women’s Index, which aims to measure the economic progress of Australia’s women.

Lea Jurkovic – Graduate Economist, Reserve Bank of Australia

Lea Jurkovic graduated from Barker in 2014 and is currently completing an Honours in Economics at the University of Sydney. Lea has interned at the Reserve Bank of Australia and will be returning next year as a graduate economist. She regularly returns to Barker to play in the OBA Big Band.
